For the first four months of this year, the Healthy Sheboygan County Coalition, a community-based initiative working to make positive changes in the health status of Sheboygan County, was busy gathering key health data on the community. It’s part of a survey done every three years in order to inform the Sheboygan County Community Health Improvement Plan, and what they learned will be released next week Wednesday.
The Healthy Sheboygan County Data Walk Open House will be held on October 7th from 2-6 PM at Jake’s, a Lakeland Community. Interactive displays will highlight critical topics affecting local residents, including healthcare access and navigation, activity and nutrition, mental health, substance use, housing, and child care.
There’s no charge to attend; you can share your perspectives and feedback that will guide how to address the important challenges that were discovered. Attendees will also have a chance to win a Walmart gift card.
