The driver of an SUV that struck a construction worker and then a Town of Jackson house has been identified as a woman from Waldo.
The accident happened last Friday when, according to Washington County Sheriff’s reports, the 48-year-old woman driving westbound on Highway 60 crossed the centerline at Country Aire Road, struck a construction worker, and then crashed into a house at that intersection.
The 35-year-old West Bend man sustained potential life-threatening injuries, and the woman was transported to the hospital as a precaution. No names were released as the investigation is not yet complete.
