The Sheboygan County real estate market is showing strength as indicated by June statistics released by the Wisconsin Realtors Association. Increases in both Home Sales and Prices were in the double-digits, a strong contrast to surrounding counties, while monthly inventory and days on the market both declined.
The median price of a Sheboygan County home sold in June was $333,000, up 16.8% over June of last year. Sales increased more than 29 percent (29.4%) over the year, while the monthly inventory shrank over 5 percent (5.1%) reflecting a tightening market. Time from market entry to sale was also down by 7.6% over the year with the average listing lasting 61 days.
Of note, median prices in Manitowoc and Calumet County shrank, were unchanged in Ozaukee County, and increased in Washington and Fond du Lac Counties. Ozaukee County topped the median price list at $550,000, while the most affordable rate comes from Manitowoc County at $262,500.
