It’s official—for the first time in the franchise’s history, the Milwaukee Brewers are World Series Champs after beating the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1.
Starter Jacob Misiorowski gave up just 2 hits and no runs before exiting in the 6th inning due to an injury that turned out to be a right calf cramp…good news for the likely Cy Young Award winner. Catcher William Contreras was named the World Series MVP.
The Miz says he’s excited about 1 thing—the parade, saying “It’s gonna be a lot of fun, you know, the parade is gonna be unreal..and I can’t wait to get back to Milwaukee—it’s gonna be a lot of fun.”
That parade has already been scheduled—its happening tomorrow morning starting at 10am. The parade will kick at off at North 4th Street and West Wisconsin Avenue, and will conclude with a rally and fan festival at Henry Maier Festival Park.
The parade and rally are free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
