We Energies customers will get a bill credit this fall. According to the utility, the credits are because of lower-than-expected fuel costs. A typical residential customer will receive about $13 to $14 back for electricity used in October, part of a $32 million refund being returned to customers.
The credit equals about two cents per kilowatt-hour and will automatically appear on October or November bills, depending on the customer’s billing cycle. No action is required to receive the refund.
