According to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County Facebook page, the shelter closure has been extended through Sunday as staff respond to an outbreak of feline panleukopenia. The shelter had planned to reopen September 17th, but says the extra time is needed for monitoring, cleaning and disease prevention. A full public reopening is now planned for September 23rd.
