Sheboygan could be getting a new multi-sport recreational complex. The Public Works Committee is recommending a 99-year ground lease with the Sheboygan Area Youth
Soccer Organization for nearly 53 acres at the Butzen Farm property on South Business Drive.
Plans submitted to the committee call for natural and artificial playing fields, parking, storage and other permanent facilities. Soccer would be the primary use, but the complex could also host other sports and recreational programs.
