A 32-year-old Manitowoc man has succumbed to injuries sustained in a Calumet County crash this Thursday morning. The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident that happened just after 7:30 AM at the intersection of County Highways K and PP, some two miles north of Brillion.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle westbound on K that failed to obey a stop sign struck a vehicle that was southbound on PP. The southbound pickup truck was driven by a 33-year-old Green Bay man who was taken by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries. The Manitowoc man driving the westbound car was pronounced dead at the scene.
No names are being released at this time, as the accident remains under investigation and family notification is underway. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is being asked to contact the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office.
