A new therapeutic day school has now opened in Sheboygan. Operated by Oconomowoc-based MyPath, The Richardson School in Sheboygan is a therapeutic day school for students ages 5-21 with developmental, neurological, or emotional needs, and is the sixth Richardson School operation in Wisconsin. The TRS model provides individualized education and therapeutic support designed to help students develop the skills they need to reach their potential and, when appropriate, successfully return to their home school environment.
Executive Director, Gena Santharam, said that the Sheboygan location isn’t just about expansion, but will also strengthen The Richardson School’s ability to serve students closer to home while continuing its commitment to helping every student achieve greater independence and success.
MyPath also operates Bobcat Camp, a therapeutic, community-based and structured recreational program for those ages 5-17 with autism and other developmental disabilities throughout the year during school breaks and summer months.
MyPath has been ranked as the 1st Majority Women Employee-Owned company by the National Center for Employee Ownership.
