Prospective home buyers in Sheboygan County saw no change over 2025 figures concerning the median home price and number of units sold during July of this year. All other surrounding counties saw increases in the price, and gains in sales were seen in all except Manitowoc County where units sold were down 9.7% over the year.
The median July home price in Sheboygan County was $315,000, and even while the average days on the market increased from 61 days last year to 67 this past July, inventory shrank by 7.9%.
Statewide, existing home sales in July rose 8.1% compared to ‘25, and the statewide median price increased 6.8% for the year to $360,000. Real Estate remains in a seller’s market, even while the Wisconsin Housing Affordability Index fell 4.1% over the past 12 Months, indicating that it’s harder for a family earning a median income to qualify for a mortgage on a median priced home. Over the past five years, the share of homes listed for less than $350,000 declined from 68.9% in June 2021 to 46.2% in June 2026.
