I’m not sure how many people watch CBS Sunday Morning but it is a STAPLE in our household. And it was when I was a kid as well. I remember my sister and I keeping VERY quiet if our parents were still in bed and CBS Sunday morning was about halfway over. That meant there was a 50/50 chance that we were going to have to put on nice clothes and go to church. We moved like ninjas starting at 9am. “No chance we can all get dressed, brush our teeth and make the 10am service at this point!” Spoiler Alert: We did.
Anyway, this story was on this past weekend, and I was pert near in tears when the camera panned over to that duck. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I wasn’t expecting that. Family of four all hanging out with the dog, camera pan right to a duck hiding in the bushes. That duck when he realized that he was going to be on TV:

Anyway the whole story is heartwarming and should win a least 5 Emmy’s, but I think I re-watched the first 10 seconds of this video about 500 times.
PS: My phone as I’m typing out this blog: “Oh NOW you want to type ‘duck’….”
Double PS: The duck being named “Louie” and not “Howard” is a major miss.
Triple PS: CUE THE MUSIC!
