The National Weather Service is beginning to cast a wary eye on the storm situation developing for Tuesday morning. While uncertainty has ruled lately, there’s increasing confidence in a batch of storms predicted to move through Sheboygan County and much of southeastern Wisconsin, arriving between 8 AM and noon, and exiting by mid to late afternoon.
The most significant risk with the expected storms are those of widespread and frequent lightning, heavy rain, and winds of 40-60 MPH. The hail chance is lower, and the risk of a tornado is much lower.
Once storms clear, only a small chance of later afternoon showers remains.
