(LEARFIELD) – Undrafted free agent edge rusher Nyjalik Kelly shows promise, but he’ll need to work to make the Packers’ opening roster.
The 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive lineman put pressure on the quarterback on more than 12 percent of his snaps as a senior at Central Florida.
Sports Illustrated reports that he also led UCF in forced fumbles as a junior and a senior.
The biggest barrier to his opening the season on the active roster is the number of bodies Green Bay has at his position.
At least some scouts say the Packers got an athlete who will help them someday.
