Spring is severe weather season in Wisconsin with some experiencing that fact more vividly than others.
According to County law enforcement, on Sunday around 2:30PM some four telephone poles were downed near the intersection of County Highway “FF” and State Highway 42 just north of Howards Grove. Northwest Sheboygan County was put under a severe thunderstorm warning not long before that damage occurred.
Forecasters want the public to be wary of storm potential even if no advance watches are issued, and so they’re keeping an eye out on storms that could return tonight. Most of that action is expected along and south of I-94, but there is a potential we’ll be brushed by high winds and hail in Sheboygan County during the early morning hours on Tuesday. Forecasters will issue updated information this afternoon.
