After months of planning, coordinating, and preparing, construction at the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District has begun. A ground breaking ceremony took place Thursday at the site for the new middle project.
The 39.6 million dollar middle school will be attached to the existing high school, and will include new commons areas, a new middle school gym and renovation work. The funds for the project are being paid for referendum that was passed in 2024.
