Few details were available, but firefighters from 15 surrounding communities responded when fire struck a home in the Town of Plymouth early this morning. The Emergency Communication Center received the alert shortly after 12:30 this morning that a residence was on fire, sending units to the as-yet undisclosed address. The first emergency crews arriving found all five residents had safely escaped and there were no injuries.
Initial investigation points to the kitchen as a point of origin, however the exact cause remains undetermined and that investigation continues.
Besides the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, responders included Plymouth Fire, Elkhart Lake Fire, Town of Falls Fire, Cascade Fire, Greenbush Fire, Glenbeulah Fire, Johnsonville Fire, Waldo Fire, New Holstein Fire, Oostburg Fire, City of Sheboygan Falls Fire, Cedar Grove Fire, Kiel Fire, Campbellsport Fire, St. Anna Fire, Cascade First Responders, Plymouth Ambulance, Orange Cross Ambulance, and the Plymouth Police Department
