In the face of intensely cold weather, the Sheboygan County Warming Center has decided to stay open all day and night on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The decision was made in order to ensure anyone in need of a safe, warm place to be during the arctic onslaught has shelter.
The SCWC said that the decision to stay open was necessary during extreme conditions, and that there will be a continuing assessment of conditions going forward.
As financial assistance can assure the warming center can remain open, anyone wishing to donate can do so at www.scwarmingcenter.org
