Evidence suggests that a Town of Brillion man was killed by another family member late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office responded shortly after midnight yesterday morning to a home on County Highway HR in the Town of Brillion, where arriving deputies found a 66-year-old man deceased from apparent blunt force trauma to the head. A 40-year-old male family member who was still on the scene was taken into custody and booked into the Calumet County Correctional Facility for First Degree Intentional Homicide.
While the incident remains under investigation, the Sheriff said that it appears to be an isolated incident and there is no known danger to the public. Names have been withheld pending notification of the family.
