Showing no separation between national and state trends, the Sheboygan County Department of Public Health reports that the incidence of Influenza in Sheboygan County is at “Very High” activity levels. Along with that, COVID-19 activity is “Moderate”, while RSV is “Low”.
Public health officials said that core strategies to prevent influenza include staying up-to-date with recommended immunizations, practicing good hygiene like regular hand-washing and cleaning of commonly-touched surfaces, and to consider mask-wearing and physical distancing, similar to measures that became commonplace during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
