Lives on a golf course but gets upset when his house gets hit by a golf ball. Make it make sense. pic.twitter.com/UH2gBfvWWg

Anytime I’m on a golf course that has houses RIGHT next to the course, I always find myself wondering what that’s like.
On the one hand, you probably have free golf balls for life. Not sure how much that offsets your property tax, but if you’re someone who golfs regularly, that’s not nothing. Probably just keep a big ol’ golf ball jug right on the patio,
I assume you’d also be able to sneak onto the course and play whatever hole is right next to your backyard. Wait for a lull in the action and just run out there and play hole #8 or whatever. Maybe hole #9 and #10 too, who’s going to stop you!
You also probably get the benefit of having fresh cut grass smell in the air at all times, and if you’re a long time resident, maybe the drink cart sees you grilling out and drives over to offer you a beverage from time to time.
On the other hand, you’ve got to deal with guys like Vitale shanking 200 yard slices into your kitchen window. “Slice of slices!” Yeah no s—, Vitale. Maybe follow Mr. Meeseeks advice and square your shoulders and keep your head down. Hit the driving range from time to time instead of just cutting it loose on the course. That way it won’t sound like Stone Cold Steve Austin is entering my house while I’m trying to relax and watch Wheel of Fortune.
And based on the fact that he had a very exact price quote for Vitale, I feel safe in saying this isn’t the first time this has happened. $681 Vitale! $681!
PS: Upon further examination, not a shock that the guy golfing in Birkenstocks can’t keep his ball near the fairway:
Double PS: I can’t imagine the pressure that the guy recording this was under when he still had to hit his ball on that tee box with this angry guy staring daggers at him. I can barely function at a tee box if I know the group behind me is just rolling up. Amplify that by about a thousand in this scenario. Scottie Scheffler probably felt less pressure at The Masters on hole 18 a few weeks ago.
