Road America track President, Michael Kertscher, fires back at Will Power’s track criticism this past weekend.

Forgot to talk about this on the pod yesterday, but an absolutely hilarious story coming out of IndyCar’s appearance at Road America this past weekend.

Now look, I’m not an expert in IndyCar by any stretch of the imagination. But if the social media age we live in has taught me anything, it’s that you shouldn’t let not knowing anything about a subject matter stop you from having a take about it. A lesson for the kids reading at home.

But in all seriousness, I’m only vaguely familiar with who Will Power is, and if I’m honest, I just learned who Michael Kertscher is when I saw this story on my timeline. But what I lack in knowledge about racing, I can make up for in knowledge about entertainment.

So a tip of the cap to Michael Kertscher for not taking the politically correct route in responding to Power’s comments. ‘Oh you think I run a sh!t racetrack? Here, smell some real sh!t.’ And credit to Power too for taking it in stride and then driving the sh!t truck over to Scott Dixon’s stall. Nothing wrong with the fellas having a little fun with some human excrement. Guys being dudes.

PS: Watching those WWF clips is a reminder of how elite Monday Night Raw was back in 1998. I was in TEARS when Jerry Lawler tells the police to, ‘get your guns!’ as Austin crashes the party. If you missed Raw on Monday night in 1998 you may as well have stayed home from school on Tuesday. You had to be ready to discuss whatever happened with Austin, McMahon, DX, and The Rock. Simpler times. Better times.
