‘I bet you’re wondering how I ended up here.’:
Good LORD AJ sent this guy into orbit. He ended up in the next zip code! My assumption is that AJ and the mascot had a discussion before this went down where AJ asked him how hard he wanted to get hit. And God bless the Kingfish for telling him ‘full speed.’ Because if AJ just casually knocks him over, it’s maybe a video that pops up on Twitter, but it’s not getting 5.5 million views like this version has so far. Watching a 260 pound NFL running back whose nickname is, ‘Quadzilla,’ literally decapitate the mascot of a college league baseball team is what puts asses in seats. Also, credit to the official Kingfish mascot Twitter page for this:

At least we got proof of life.
Also: This video continues quite a run for AJ Dillon as the adopted son of Wisconsin. Connecticut kid who went to college at Boston College, but ever since getting drafted by the Packers has been more Wisconsin than Charlie Berens. He’s the Mayor of Door County, he’s always tweeting about fish fry’s, last week he was out at the Green Bay farmer’s market, he has a beer named after him, the man just oozes Wisconsin. Hell, even though he went to school at Boston College, his entire profile fits as a Badger running back. I’m not sure if his on-the-field credentials will make him a Packer HOFer by the end of his career, but his off the field credentials certainly do.
PS: A tradition unlike any other, the Brewers pre-All Star game meltdown:
Brewers have an odd, repetitive pattern leading up to the all-star break the last four breaks:

2018: Lost 6 straight
2019: Lost 5 of 6
2021: Lost 3 straight and 6 of 8
2022: Had lost 5 of 7 coming into today and trail 7-1 through 3
This is probably more happenstance than anything, but it’s so trendy it’s hard not to call it a trend. Who would you blame for this? Counsell? Stearns? I dunno. But it clearly happens a lot. This team played 53 road games and only 40 home games before the break, they dealt with a TON of injuries to key players, and they enter the break in first place (barely). No doubt it feels like they are multiple moves away from being a legitimate title contender, but given everything that happened, getting to the break with the division lead feels like a win.
