Big day, YUGE day for ‘WHO CARES!’ guy on Facebook. I picture them all cracking their knuckles the second Aaron Rodgers posted this picture and preparing to punch in. Registering their disgust on the internet while simultaneously giving the article more attention because they interacted with it. In life you love the things you can rely on and ‘WHO CARES!’ guy is somebody we can all rely on. I’m going to post this blog on our company’s ‘Green and Gold Fan Zone’ page and the mortal lock of the century is that one of the above gifs will be the first comment.
Anyway, it’s been quite an offseason for our boy Aaron Charles Rodgers. After winning his second consecutive (and fourth overall) MVP award, he promptly called off his engagement with Shailene Woodley. After that, he signed a contract extension that virtually guarantees he plays his entire career in Green Bay, and about 5 days later his most explosive weapon bolted for Las Vegas and Derek Carr.
Next? Reports of him entering a new relationship with a woman named ‘Blu of Earth’ who is apparently some kind of witch?
For the official record, Blu of Earth denied identifying as a witch, but do you know who refutes being a witch? Witches. That’s witch 101. It started around 1693 in the Massachusetts Bay area.
Anyway, that leads us to yesterday and Rodgers posting about his first tattoo. A LOT going on there. A couple of lions, the eye of Sauron, what appears to be the Pythagorean Theorem, an ocean front, etc. A lot of detail that looks like it might be lost cover art to a 1992 Pearl Jam album.
He says there’s a deep meaning to it that he’s not going to get into and you know what? That’s fine by me. I’m a live and let live kind of guy. Do whatever makes you happy. And in this specific case do whatever makes you happy and also do what makes me happy and win a Super Bowl. Readddddy, break!
