JERUSALEM, Nov 3 (Reuters) – Israeli drugmaker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, reported on Tuesday a higher-than-expected rise in third-quarter profit, helped by strong sales of a trio of its own drugs to offset declines in copycat medicines.
• It said it earned 86 cents per diluted share, excluding one-time items, in the July to September quarter, up from 78 cents a share a year earlier.
• Revenue edged down 2% to $4.4 billion, with Teva citing lower generic drug sales that were offset by higher sales of branded medicines.
• Analysts had forecast earnings of 72 cents per share ex-items on revenue of $4.22 billion, LSEG I/B/E/S data showed.
• Teva slightly raised its 2026 revenue outlook to $16.7 billion to $17 billion due to higher sales projections of branded drugs Austedo, Ajovy and Uzedy. It sees adjusted EPS of $1.92 to $2.11 this year.
