Oct 9 (Reuters) – Satellite technology firm Sidus Space said on Friday two directors had resigned from its board, citing disagreements over governance and management practices.
The company said it disagreed with the assertions made by the directors in their resignation letters. Here are some details:
• Tiffany Norwood and Kelle Wendling resigned from Sidus Space’s board effective October 6, according to a regulatory filing.
• Norwood, chair of the audit committee and a member of the corporate governance and nominating committee, cited “a number of concerns and disagreements”, including the handling of a confidential complaint brought to her and other committee chairs.
• Wendling, a member of the audit, compensation, and corporate governance and nominating committees, said she resigned after considering matters related to the company’s management and governance.
• Sidus Space included both directors’ resignation letters in the regulatory filing.
• “I have previously raised concerns regarding these matters through the appropriate Board and committee processes, and those concerns remain unresolved,” Wendling said in her letter.
• The company said it had notified Norwood and Wendling of its disclosures and given them an opportunity to state whether they agreed with its response.
