(PEDAL DOWN PROMOTIONS) September 8, 2026 – The third time proved charming for Travis Arenz and the members of the Travis Arenz Motorsports Team in racking up the third A-main victory of the 2026 season and 410 Sprint Car career win No. 3 at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wis., in Bumper to Bumper Interstate Racing Association action on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The Sheboygan Falls, Wis. competitor placed sixth in the 22-car field at 141 Speedway with a lap of 11.041 seconds on the quarter-mile egg-shaped clay oval. After earning a third-place showing in the third heat race and a second-place finish in dash 1, Arenz started third in the 30-lap main event.
On lap 18, Arenz found himself in fourth in the running order before turning it up in the closing laps. The 2016 141 Speedway Northern Sport Mod champion moved to third on lap 19 before claiming second on lap 25.
Arenz, who topped the national touring High Limit Racing Series to win the $26,000 Rayce Rudeen Foundation race at 141 in 2025, stalked race leader Jake Blackhurst in the closing laps before stealing away the lead on lap 27 en route to his third A-main win of the 2026 campaign, and third 410 Sprint Car victory at 141 Speedway.
The triumph also marked Arenz’s seventh career 410 Sprint Car victory and the 77th overall A-main win of his career
“I’m very happy to be able to pick up another win this season,” Arenz said. “We executed the night very well. I was able to put down a good qualifying lap, lock into the dash, and bring home the win. The car was good all night. I could have made a few minor adjustments at the start of the feature. I was a little too loose. But once the fuel load started lightening up, the car was great.”
The team moved north with the IRA to The Hill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. on Sunday, Sept. 6, where Arenz qualified eighth in the 22-car field with a lap of 14.019 seconds. He then placed second in the second heat race and claimed fourth in the first dash to start seventh in the 30-lap headliner.
Arenz advanced steadily into the top five throughout the race before coming home fourth to nail down his 11th top-five finish of the 2026 campaign.
“At The Hill, I feel like we qualified decently for where I was in the lineup and considering the track conditions,” Arenz said. “After a full track rework, we had a much better racing surface. This was a track where I had to be consistent and hit my marks. I was able to pass a few cars in the feature, but, ultimately, I needed to be just a little better driving-wise and set-up wise.”
After capturing the 2025 Wilmot Raceway 410 Sprint Car track title, Arenz is set to vie for a second consecutive championship this Friday, Sept. 11 at the third annual Wilmot Fall Classic. He heads into the 2026 Wilmot 410 Sprint Car season finale with a 31-point lead at the top of the standings over Matt VanderVere.
Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing commencing at 7 p.m.
