(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers will wear their “1923 Classic” throwback uniforms in Week 14 when they host Buffalo.
The look features brown faux‑leather helmets, navy jerseys with gold numbers and stripes, and tan pants — a design inspired by the team’s first season as a publicly owned franchise.
The throwbacks debuted last November in a loss to Carolina at Lambeau Field.
Green Bay also plans to unveil its new “Rivalries” alternate uniform in Week 5 against Chicago.
Veteran help: Packers coach Matt LaFleur had a brief conversation with reporters on Thursday. He was asked if he senses a difference in having more veterans on the squad this year.
LaFleur said that defensive tackle Warren Brinson was making a Year 2 jump before getting hurt – encouraging.
LaFleur also talked about defensive tackle Anthony Campbell making the team and getting noticed this summer

The Packers open the season on Sunday, September 13 at Minnesota against the Vikings.
