The skies over Sheboygan and surrounding counties will again be the source of late-day and evening rumbling, and not all will be the result of storms. The 115th Fighter Wing of the Wisconsin Air National Guard will again be doing evening training flights now through Thursday, and again next week Monday through Thursday.
F-35 Pilots and their support crews on the ground usually conduct daytime practices, but full readiness requires nighttime operations as well. And with prime training airspace located over Lake Michigan, the trip from Truax Field in Madison puts much of that traffic overhead of Sheboygan and eastern Wisconsin.
Any noise involved should wrap up by 10:15 PM.
