Memorial Day celebrations in the City of Sheboygan have been detailed by organizers.
This year the observances on Monday, May 25, include a parade in downtown Sheboygan, along with a ceremony and brat fry at Fountain Park. Launch-Lakeland University Student-Run Businesses will again be a major organizer along with US Veterans and Active-Duty Personnel, the City of Sheboygan, the Sheboygan County Veterans Service Office, while Kohler Credit Union is sponsoring the parade. That procession begins at 9 AM at 7th and Center Avenue proceeding north on 7th Street to Michigan Avenue, westward to 9th Street, and then south on 9th to Fountain Park. Anyone wishing to participate in the parade must register here by Thursday, May 14th.
The Memorial Day Ceremony featuring keynote speaker Craig Stewart, County Veterans Service Officer for Sheboygan County, follows immediately after the parade at Fountain Park.
