Area motorists should be cautious in several work zones this week as Wisconsin DOT crews conduct repairs.
Besides the ongoing, large-scale work underway on I-43, maintenance crews will be repairing beam guards on Highway 23 between County Roads “P” and “S” today between 7 AM and 3 PM. Traffic will be restricted to one lane in that area between Plymouth and Greenbush.
Elsewhere, maintenance crews will be working to repair beam guards in Manitowoc County on southbound I-43 at Newton Road as well as on the northbound lanes at Devils River this week Monday through Thursday between 8 AM and 2 PM. Lane closures will also be in place for those operations, and motorists are asked to slow down for safety in all work zones.
