A Sheboygan Falls woman has been transported to an ICE Detention Facility.
According to WTMJ News, the immigration attorney for 50-year-old Elvira Benitez Suarez said his client was taken into custody during a routine check in with immigration officials in Milwaukee.
This isn’t the first time Suarez has been in ICE custody, as she was held for several months at a detention center in Ohio after being detained in July. According to her lawyer, Suarez had been in the process of obtaining her green card.
