According to experts with the National Integrated Drought Information System, Sheboygan County is likely to escape drought conditions over the next three months. That prediction came along with the weekly report that shows no change from last week, indicating that Sheboygan County is roughly defined in thirds, ranging from around 35 percent (34.7%) of the County population in the northern third experiencing Moderate Drought. The central third is Abnormally Dry, while the southern third is free of drought.
Although current conditions are likely to last for at least another month, expectations are that Sheboygan County should be free of drought by sometime in May.
