A better prediction of possible weather outcomes has been released by the National Weather Service. And as of Friday afternoon, it appears likely that Sheboygan County and others in east-central Wisconsin are in a good position to get the max snow out of the system.
Of most immediate note is the possibility of freezing fog overnight, which would result in thick frost and resulting slick spots on area roadways. The hazards then evolve to that of accumulating snow, mostly between 7 AM and 5 PM Saturday, resulting in accumulations anywhere from 2-5 inches. Complicating matters will be northwest winds of 10-15 MPH, gusting as high as 25 and causing blowing and drifting snow along with reduced visibility on roadways. That being said, there were no weather advisories issued as of 4 PM Friday.
Much quieter conditions should be present by sunup Sunday, with clear skies and high temperatures near 30 degrees expected.
