With the holidays now behind us, The City of Sheboygan begins its annual curbside collection of discarded Christmas Trees on Monday, a process that will continue through the end of the month.
Trees will be picked up on the regular garbage and recycling schedule, and there won’t be any alley pickups, only curbside. You’re requested to remove everything but the needles and not to place the tree in a plastic bag. Wreathes can be placed with the tree, and both will be chipped at the DPW headquarters on New Jersey Avenue, and that will then be made available for free to City residents for spring gardening and landscaping.
