The National Weather Service is advising drivers to keep a wary eye out for possible slippery roads this morning.
Temperatures are near freezing and light flurries are approaching, eventually reaching here around or after sunrise. While that’s not a problem in itself, the chance to mix in some freezing drizzle before a transition to light rain around noontime could quickly turn roads dicey.
Any accumulations should be very light and with temperatures rising to the mid 30s, should be short-lived. Temperatures should remain near, to above freezing overnight, and Tuesday expects good shopping weather with sunshine and temperatures near 40 on the day before Christmas Eve.
