The president and CEO of Miller – St. Nazianz, a well-known regional agricultural implement business, has been appointed by Governor Evers to serve as the Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
After graduating from the UW Law School in 2006, Miller joined his family’s company, becoming the fifth generation to lead the business. In 2015, Miller founded Arenberg Holdings LLC, a venture capital fund in Milwaukee, which works to mentor and invest in early-stage companies in the Midwest. Miller currently lives in Fox Point with his family.
Upon making the appointment, Governor Evers said that “John has a proven track record of helping spearhead business growth and success in Wisconsin and around the Midwest, which makes him uniquely qualified to lead the exceptional team at WEDC.”
Miller said that “It is a privilege to accept this position (as WEDC Secretary and CEO), and I am honored to have been tapped by the governor for this opportunity to serve the people of Wisconsin.”
Miller’s appointment becomes effective December 15th.
