Mother Nature isn’t going to help people traveling over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house this Thanksgiving weekend.
While deer hunters can appreciate a layer of tracking snow, motorists will be more concerned about keeping traction on the roads, a factor that comes into play today as an advisory for light accumulating snow is in effect between 6 AM and 6 PM.
An inch or two accumulation is expected in the eastern part of Sheboygan County, with amounts possibly reaching the 4” range in the Kettle Moraine with the majority falling from mid morning until early afternoon.

Complicating that will be winds that could gust over 50 MPH, and a wind advisory is in effect, also from 6 until 6.
It also looks now like those returning over the weekend will be facing weather challenges as snow is expected to fall all day Saturday through Saturday night. Forecasters say that there’s plenty of uncertainty and to keep up with the forecasts.
