A new $1.8 million, state-of-the-art Dental Clinic was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the Village of Cleveland on Monday. The facility is the newest addition to Lakeshore College’s campus that serves not only as a clinic, but also as an enhanced classroom and lab space which will prepare more oral healthcare professionals for work as dental assistants and hygienists.
Lakeshore’s previous lab was demolished to make room for the new lab that includes workstations, advanced equipment, and supplies, and will allow students to experience a hands-on, real-world learning environment as they focus on skill development and patient care.
