The idea: Provide mobile home owners with services that assure a stable, level home through careful inspection, leveling and maintenance. Hal Spect II pitched his idea for Re-Specht Adventure on Tuesday night and, in the process, secured a place representing Sheboygan County at the NEW Launch Alliance Regional Pitch Competition on December 3rd at Titletown Tech in Green Bay.
The AccelSC Pitch Competition was held at Jakes A Lakeland Community in Sheboygan, and featured entrepreneurs from across the county. Business concepts were shared with a panel of judges and a live audience, with Re-Specht Adventure earning a $2,000 Grand Prize. His company ensures safety and long-term value with a hands-on approach that impressed the judges with how his work turns uncertainty into a secure foundation for families and property owners alike.
The second-place, $1,000 prize went to Jared Soto, founder of Dream Catcher Energies, which focuses on creating innovative, renewable energy solutions that harness natural power in new and efficient ways. Soto’s presentation also impressed the audience which rewarded his idea with the “People’s Choice” award worth $250.
The competition, an initiative of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation and the Small Business Development Center at UW-Green Bay was sponsored by Associated Bank, Wells Fargo, WBD and New North.
