A board that oversees the operations of libraries in Sheboygan and Ozaukee County wants to hear feedback from the public on plans for future operations of the facilities.
The Joint County Library Planning Committee oversees library and bookmobile services for the two counties, and has undertaken the preparation of a joint plan to serve the residents of each county. The Committee met over the past several months to review current services, and is required to report to both County Boards.
As part of the process, public input is being gathered to further refine the new Joint County Library Service Plan, which offers carefully considered recommendations to enhance library services, and public participation is considered vital to the success of the process.
If you have thoughts on the operations of libraries in Sheboygan and Ozaukee County, you can join the conversation during a public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, November 5 from 5-6PM at the Mead Public Library.
The plan can be reviewed here.
