I mean if someone doesn’t make some kind of, “Packers goin’ to the Bowwwwllll Bruh,” shirt with a Jayden Reed hospital bed graphic on it by the end of the day, I will be severely disappointed. Just an absolute no-brainer. So much so that I almost, ALMOST, dusted off the Microsoft Paint skills for today’s blog. Sadly, I have two meetings I need to zone out in today, so no time to go to the digital spray can.
Related: He did the BOGO surgery we talked about on the podcast! I wondered if they would just fix that Jones Fracture in his foot that he was planning on playing through as long as they were repairing his collarbone. Seemed like the timelines were pretty much the same, so why not knock them both out as long as you’re going under the hood. So now it’s likely that he’s actually 100% when he comes back at some point in December (?).
PS: I’ve only had one surgery in my life: Got my wisdom teeth taken out in December of 2009. Because of timing/vacation days, I had the surgery on December 22nd, so just a few days out from Christmas. Now anyone that knows anything about me knows that I LIVE for Christmas cookies. They’re the foundation piece of my food pyramid from about December 15th-January 15th. So (apparently) a big concern I had with having dental surgery, was would that surgery impact my ability to cash in on one of my favorite times of year as it relates to cookies. As my mom relays the story, I was BADGERING the poor nurse assigned to me about whether or not I could eat Christmas cookies. Cookies, cookies, cookies, cookies. “Can I eat cookies soon?” “How long before I can eat cookies?” “If I keep the cookies in the front part of my mouth can I eat them?” “What if we liquify the cookies into a shake, then am I okay?” To the point where she apparently just screamed, “YES!” at me before kicking me out of the room. I stand by my priorities and inquiries.
