A fleeing suspect had to be tased before being arrested after a chase in Fond du Lac County on Sunday. A Sheriff’s Deputy there tried to stop a vehicle speeding on County Highway “Y” in the Township of Oakfield, but the subject continued southbound into Dodge County before returning north into Fond du Lac County, and eventually onto Highway 49 where stop sticks were used to deflate the tires after a total 14 mile pursuit.
A PIT maneuver succeeded in finally stopping and boxing in the vehicle and the driver exited but failed to obey commands.
The 35-year-old Green Bay man needed to be tased before being taken into custody. He now faces felony fleeing and eluding charges along with misdemeanor bail jumping and various traffic violations.
