Sheboygan police say three men are under arrest after a shooting outside a big box store on North Taylor Drive Friday night left a 22-year-old man critically injured.
Officers were called to the store around 7 p.m. and found the Sheboygan man with multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the chest. He was first taken to a local hospital, then flown by medical helicopter to a Milwaukee trauma center.
Police say the victim was able to provide information at the scene that helped investigators quickly identify suspects. With assistance from the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department and other Fox Valley agencies, three adult men from Outagamie County were taken into custody.
Detectives from Sheboygan and Outagamie County are continuing to investigate. Police say charges will be referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sheboygan Police at 920-459-3333.
