City of Sheboygan Department of Public Works
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works is reminding the public that changes in the garbage and recycling schedule will be in effect next week. With Labor Day coming up on Monday, no curbside collection will take place then. All collections will be moved down one day so that Monday is picked up on Tuesday, and so forth until Friday’s collection is done on Saturday.
The City Recycling Center on New Jersey Avenue will also be closed on Monday, but resume the regular schedule on Tuesday.
One other City office also has a schedule change – that’s at the Sheboygan Police Department headquarters where the customer service window will be closed this Thursday between 1 and 2:30 PM for a staff meeting. No other operations will be affected, and anyone needing to pay fines can leave them in the lobby drop box during those hours.
