Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies have taken two illegal firearms and their owners off the streets. A traffic stop conducted recently revealed a Glock 17 firearm that had been reported stolen by the Milwaukee Police Department. The pistol had been modified in order to render it fully automatic. Also seized was a Glock 43X.
One individual involved was a felon who was previously convicted of substantial battery and possession with intent to deliver illegal drugs. The second occupant of the vehicle was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.
Both men are from Milwaukee and had claimed to have moved to Fond du Lac recently. The Sheriff’s Office there is working with the ATF and Milwaukee Police Department in an ongoing investigation.
