Commencements for the fall classes of 2024 take place on Saturday for two local institutions. The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, which includes the Sheboygan County campus as well as those in Marinette and Manitowoc Counties, will confer degrees on 490 students in all on Saturday in two ceremonies. The College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, the College of Health, Education & Social Welfare, as well as Associate Degree grads from all four campuses will be feted at 9:30 at Green Bay’s Weidner Center, while graduates from the Cofrin School of Business and the College of Science, Engineering and Technology graduate at 2 p.m.
Meanwhile, fall graduation for Lakeshore College students is also set for Saturday on the college’s Cleveland Campus. Degrees in Health and Public Safety will be handed out between 10 and 11:15 a.m.; those in Business, Technology, Culinary Arts, General Studies, Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture and Automotive specialties will receive their degrees from 11:30 until noon, and graduates receiving their GED’s and High School Equivalency Diplomas will make their walk from noon until 12:30 p.m.
Lakeshore College will have all campus buildings open to students, family and friends from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
