Candidates are being sought to fill a vacancy on the Sheboygan County Board of Supervisors in District 21. That position represents Wards 1 and 2 of the Town of Wilson and the Village of Oostburg. The remainder of the 2-year term expires in April of 2022 and was formerly held by Brian Hilbelink.
County Board Chairman Vernon Koch said candidates must be a qualified elector who resides in that district, and if appointed will meet at 6 PM on the third Tuesday of each month in the County Courthouse and also serve on one or more of nine committees. The position comes with a base annual salary of $2,100 and includes mileage reimbursements plus per diem pay for meetings. Chairman Koch will make the appointment from the lists of candidates, subject to approval of the full board.
