Fire struck a barn in the Town of Sherman, destroying the building and its contents on Monday night.
Two separate reports came into the Sheboygan County Emergency Dispatch Center shortly after 8 p.m., drawing crews from more than a dozen area fire departments to the scene on Silver Creek-Cascade Road about a mile west of Adell in southwestern Sheboygan County. A large, 2-story barn and a smaller adjoining building were both on fire when responders arrived. They were able to bring the fires under control, but both buildings and their contents, which included farm and lawn care equipment, as well as boats, were destroyed in the blaze.
There were no injuries, no animals were lost, and there was no cause identified as the investigation continues.
