The National Weather Service, keeping an especially close eye on conditions expected for travelers, is advising to keep up with forecasts concerning Sunday. There’s no real concern for a significant snow event, however with expected congestion on roadways from holiday travelers heading home, advance notice is being given to watch for possible slippery conditions.
Forecasters have increasing confidence in the chances for light accumulations of snow on Sunday, and have also moved up the start time from a later-day start, to that of early Sunday morning. Given the change, snow could affect timeframes anywhere from midnight until midnight Sunday morning through night, but the most likely hours are between 6 and 11 a.m. as of the Friday afternoon forecasts. During those times in the Sheboygan area, temperatures should remain narrowly either side of freezing.
