I have no idea what this guy did to land himself in the clink. If I’m honest I don’t want to know what he did. I just want to go on record as saying that this is a blog about GAMBLING content, it is not a blog advocating for breaking the law in any way, shape, or form. If you’re a gambler, you’ll GASP at this 6-team parlay hitting. If you’re not a gambler it might not seem like a big deal. But take it from someone with a 9% success rate on career parlays (not bad!), this is a MASSIVE hit. It’s almost impossible to hit a 3-team parlay where you’re just betting the heaviest favorites to win. But a 6-team, cross-sport parlay WITH underdog outright winners???? LORDY.

The Raiders over the Patriots I guess wasn’t that far fetched. Same with the Lions over Tampa Bay or the Rams over the Cardinals. But he had the Jets, an EIGHT point home-underdog, winning outright against the undefeated Eagles?? He bet on Zach Wilson to win a game against a good/great team and he actually cashed that ticket??? Preposterous. Outrageous. The cherry on top was a WNBA tickler on the New York Liberty. That’s how you know this wasn’t this guy’s first rodeo. The WNBA is a severely untapped market when it comes to gambling. I have done no actual research to back this up, but it feels like home-favorites win something like 95% of the time. Source: Trust me.

But the fact that he thought to look to the WNBA just to tack on another game to make his return even bigger means that he is a true degenerate. I love that he had to confirm it was a WNBA game as well. Even though you can’t hear his boy on the other line, I guarantee you he said, ‘THE WNBA TEAM??’ after our incarcerated friend said, ‘New York Liberty, the basketball team.’ Classic.

Anyhoo, he nailed this parlay, posted bond, and now we all need him to publish his picks every single week. May need to see if we can get him on as a guest-picker on the podcast*.

*It’s too bad this guy’s name is Rasheed and not Mike. If I could have Prison Mike on the podcast every week to drop a weekend parlay I think my life would be complete.

PS: The fact that he’s betting WNBA games means that I know for a fact that he thought the same thing I did after I watched this video: ‘Should have bet more than $500.’ $500 to win about $14,000 is a massive payday. But you hit parlays so rarely that when you do it, one of the first feelings you have after joy is regret at not betting more. It’s a vicious cycle.

Double PS: Dude had to be SWEATING that Bills/Giants game. Bills were 14-point favorites, of all of the games he listed that was the easiest one in his mind. Then the Bills are down 9-0 in the 4th quarter before rallying for two touchdowns. They also escaped without a pass interference call late in that game with the Giants threatening to take back the lead. This is why getting parlays to the finish line is hard work!
